Art Glazes produce a lustrous finish, dual coloring, or a grained or metallic look. The glazes can range from gloss to matte or a combination.
Apply 3 full coats of Art Glaze to properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. An uneven application will produce more two toned color variations.
Shape of the piece, application thickness, firing rate and temperature will affect the glaze.
Fire to shelf cone 06. Most Art Glazes will also high fire to shelf cone 6.
Most luster compatible. Check individual jar for Compatibility.
Art Glazes are lead bearing glazes but the majority are Dinnerware safe. Check product label for specifics.
White Drape forms a cascading water effect when applied heavily over a glaze at the top of a piece.
White Foam develops fine bubbles during firing, resulting in a snowy foam texture. White Foam can be used on greenware or bisque.
Can be high fired.
